The Council for A Better Louisiana and Louisiana Public Broadcasting will host a candidate debate featuring the two remaining candidates in the 2019 Louisiana governor’s race.
The debate will air live on Wednesday, October 30 from 7:00-8:00 p.m. on LPB stations around the state. It will originate from the studios of LPB.
Both Governor John Bel Edwards and businessman Eddie Rispone have agreed to participate in the debate which will feature an in-depth discussion of several of the major issues facing Louisiana. Questions will be posed by a panel of reporters and the candidates will also question each other on the issues being discussed.
Tune in and hear the answers from the candidates before voting on November 16th.
