Hilton Capitol Center Baton Rouge
In 2016, business leaders in Texas created TEXAS 2036, a non- partisan organization focused on the future of the Lone Star State.
Their mission: To “offer non-partisan ideas grounded in research and data to break through the gridlock on issues that matter most to all Texans.”
CABL’s 2023 annual meeting will feature a conversation with Justin Coppedge, interim CEO of Texas 2036. He will discuss how this nonpartisan group uses data to drive public policies, engage citizens in issues, and promote a strategic framework for the future of Texas. We will highlight some of their key initiatives and explore what Louisiana can learn from their successes.
“At Texas 2036, data informs our policy work and is used to monitor the resulting progress. We’re using data to ensure Texans have a better future.”
